I always loved In Harm's Way also, even if the production values ( model warships ) were less than steller. I was there with ya ...Excellent and heart rending. I was there with ya all the way Deuce! One correction (as an avid JW fan who has memorized most of his films. I think the character of Mary Kate's brother in the The Quiet Man was named Wil. BTW - I think one of his best was "In Harm's Way". He and Kirk Douglas were absolutely great together. One of the best lines was Wayne and Burgess Meridith standing on the bridge ion the early dawn light before the battle. Meridith-with his voice shakey - asks, "What's it like, a surface battle?" The Duke takes a drag on his cigarette and replies with a hint of irony in his voice, "Loud."Mr. Quarternoreply@blogger.com
